Roomeze specializes in renting apartments room by room, through proprietary roommate matchmaking software and services.  It has been increasing difficult and expensive for young professionals to live by themselves. While larger apartments are more affordable, people traditionally need to find their own roommates to move in. This has made larger apartments more difficult for landlords to fill.

Through the Roomeze platform, rooms and apartments that are otherwise inaccessible are now more efficiently filled by both landlords and tenants. Since inception Roomeze has rented over 3,500 rooms and matched 3,500 roommates throughout New York City. Gideon Asset Management led the seed round in 2018 after Roomeze boot strapped themselves for 3 years and generated $2M in gross revenue.
